Since the late 1980’s OEM manufacturing and private label equipment manufacturing has been a large part of SDC’s business. Dozens of 1st Tier Semiconductor Manufacturers and back-end equipment companies around the globe have turned to SDC for subsystem manufacturing. SDC's extensive OEM capabilities include:

Engineering

SDC champions eight (8) full-time, well-seasoned engineers onsite, and more than a dozen in our Long Island location. The engineering staff boasts over 150 total years of industry experience. Each engineering workstation is outfitted with the latest AutoCAD Inventor 3-D modeler software, schematic capture and diagnostic software.

Cleanroom Manufacturing

SDC operates out of a 25,000 ft2 facility fitted with over 4,000 ft2 of Class 10 and Class 100 clean room manufacturing and laboratory space. These areas are tooled with over $1 Million in support and analytical equipment.

Mechanical / Electrical Assembly

Approximately 10,000 ft2 of the SDC facility is dedicated to mechanical & electrical assembly and test.

UHP Orbital Welding

SDC has taken extensive measures to provide the most failsafe designs and combine them with some forward thinking features in an effort to offer a safe, versatile product that meets any specialty gas delivery requirement. All UHP wetted flow paths including purge panels, pigtails and other dynamic pressure bearing components are welded by ASME Section IX Certified Welding Technicians. SDC's Certified 3rd party Orbital Welding Procedure includes:

• Procedure Qualification of Record First Nano EasyGas™ 1500
• Welding Procedure Specifications 2-Cylinder Cabinet
• Welder Performance Qualifications

Metal Working/Machining
SDC's headquarters in Long Island, New York has recently been outfitted with more than $1 Millon worth of new machine equipment including:

• Four (4) CNC Mills
• Three (3) CNC Lathes
• CNC Turret Punch
• Quartz Shop
• Powder Coat Paint Booth
